Description
The Wachovia Center is the center piece of blockbuster events for the Philadelphia Pennsylvania area. The arena opened in the Summer of 1996 and since those first days the mega complex has been home to some of the best concerts, comedy acts, world class sports and family event tours. Great music concerts include legends such as U2, Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones and newer sensations like Snoop Dogg and the Game. Philadlephia Sports fans have come to know the Wachovia Center as the home of the Philadelphia Sixers of the National Basketball League (NBA) and the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League (NHL). You'll also find events like Championship Ice Skating, Professional Wrestling, Ringling Brothers and Barnum Bailey Circus and other top notch entertainment.
Seating in the Wachovia Center was designed in order to give each seat optimum and unobstructed views. Premium Seating sections are also available that provide fantastic views, privacy, in addition to great ancillary services like private Food and Beverage service and private rest room areas. Many different types of seating are available for various types of events, however the general seating levels offered are lower level, club box suites, mezzanine and balcony. Seats are cushioned and offer drink holder and/or refreshment attachments. If you're looking for a specific type of premium seating the arena offers five different types which include Club Box, Super Box, Club Suites, Luxury Suites, Balcony Suites and Party Suites.
Beyond the fun you'll find at whatever event you're attending at the Wachovia Center, you'll also find a few alternative places of fun to eat and drink right inside the building. From refreshment stands to Bars and sit down restaurants, the Wachovia Center offers something for everyone. The Lexus Club is located on the bottom level of the arena and is offered to Courtside Seat holders for the Sixer's games. Victor's Club is a member's only club that whose members get great benefits like dinner show packages, member only parties, reserved parking spaces and also a great selection of menu items from which to dine. For the cigar aficionado there's Holt's Cigar Club. This club is also member's only club, that provides unique benefits to it's members. Member benefits and services such as private cigar lockers, free passes to certain events and availability to purchase reserved parking. Last there's the Red Bell Microbrewery which is open to the public and offers a great selection of house brewed ales, a roast beef carving station and DJ Music. The Red Bell Microbrewery is located on south side of the Wachovia Center directly facing out towards I-95.
The Wachovia Center also provides an array of services for Disabled or Handicapped visitors and are designated so by the Universal Symbol Mark. Handicap Parking areas are located in the Broad Street and 11th Street Parking areas. Each of these areas provide direct access to areas of the arena that are near ramps and elevators to upper levels. All rest rooms are designed to be handicap/disabled accessible, however, a Private Restroom for handicap/disabled visitors is located near the Broad Street Parking area of the arena on the Lower Level.
